Entopia is home to more than 15,000 butterflies from approximately 60 different species in their natural habitat! These colorful butterflies are stunning to behold as they flit about the tropical garden.
The most popular species here at Entopia is the Red Lacewing, which boasts bright orange and yellow wings. You’ll also find White Glove Skippers, Blue Mottled Euploeas, and the striking Blue Morphos—all among the most gorgeous butterflies in the world!
The butterflies have plenty of nectar sources in the form of colorful flowers, tree branches, and even specially-built nectar feeders. There are even special spots where the butterflies can sun themselves and get some important Vitamin D.
Visitors may even get lucky enough to witness a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis…an incredible life cycle event that never fails to amaze!
At Entopia, you'll learn all about the butterflies that call the farm home. There are a total of 15 species of butterflies, including the Monarch, Cairns Birdwing, and Blue Moon, and common varieties like the Blue Pansy, Common Tree Nymph, and Fivebar Swordtail.
The farm also offers educational programs, such as guided tours, interactive activities, and a butterfly-themed playground.
It features a unique rainforest habitat, complete with more than 200 species of plants with waterfalls, ponds, caves, and other artistic garden features.
It also features Nature Talk sessions, ‘Vita Nova’ (New Life), and Bug Exploration programs throughout the day at specific timings.

Entry & Services:

Admission to Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm is free for people with disabilities who present a valid OKU ID.
Children aged 4-12 will be charged at the child ticket price.
Adult admission passes are only valid for people aged 13 to 59.
The Child / Senior Citizen entrance pass is only valid for children aged 4 to 12 years old or senior citizens aged 60 and up.
Only original entry passes are accepted.
Photocopies scanned copies, or digital copies will not be accepted.
The entrance pass must be claimed and redeemed before the expiry date, or it will be rendered null and void.
Foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details upon arrival. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Each ticket holder must present proof of identity and age at the admission turnstile. Entopia reserves the right to reject entries if visitors are not able to present the required ID or attempt to enter the park using the wrong tickets.
Visitors are not allowed to feed the animals without permission from the staff.
The Entopia General Admission Tickets are intended for single redemption for admission to Entopia.

The cafe, Tapestree, is located in the outdoor garden (Natureland) and can accommodate up to 80 guests at a time. We offer Asian and Western fusion dishes. Retail Outlet visitors who are not entering the park can access the cafe and be seated. Dietary Concerns: For specific dietary concerns or restrictions, or for information about how our food is prepared and their approximate cost, you may enquire with any of our cafe staff. Private Function: Tapestree caters to private functions for up to 20 pax. Meanwhile, we do have a larger function hall (The Sphere) that can cater for bigger private events.
