Insider Tips

Convert Your Voucher Before Security: The ticket windows and Will Call sit beside the security queue. Turn your booking into an entry ticket there first, or you are sent back out and screened twice.
Board the Bus Tour First: The bus tour to the Apollo/Saturn V Center is included, takes about three hours with the waits, and the last bus leaves two and a half hours before closing. Do it first.
Bring a Card, Not Cash: The whole complex is cashless. Pocket knives of any size, keyring tools included, are turned away at the bag check.
Pack a Lunch in a Soft Cooler: Your own food and drinks are allowed in a small soft-sided cooler, with nothing in glass. Lunch queues inside are long, so eat between the bus tour and Atlantis.
Two Visits Beat One Long Day: One day covers the bus tour, Atlantis and one film before closing. The 2-day ticket gives two visits within six months, enough to add the Gateway simulators and astronaut talks.

What’s included with Kennedy Space Center tickets?

Admission covers the whole complex: Space Shuttle Atlantis and the Shuttle Launch Experience, Gateway with the deep-space exhibits, Heroes and Legends with the Astronaut Hall of Fame, the Astronaut Encounter, the IMAX films and the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour to the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Special programs such as Fly with an Astronaut and the extended bus tours are sold separately at the complex.
Do children need a ticket?

Children under 3 enter free. Ages 3 to 11 pay the child rate and anyone aged 12 or over pays the adult rate. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Is one day enough, or should I book the 2-day ticket?

One day covers the bus tour, Atlantis and one or two presentations before the complex closes. The 2-day ticket gives two visits, which do not need to be consecutive days, inside a six-month window, so you can split the bus tour and the Gateway simulators across two trips.
