The exhibition, which is titled Impressionism: Pathways to Modernity, will feature more than 150 paintings by some of the most celebrated impressionist artists, including Musée d'Orsay, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, and Edgar Degas.
The exhibition will trace the development of impressionism from its roots in the late 1850s to its height in the early 1880s. It will also explore how the movement spread from France to other parts of Europe and the world.
