



Mleiha Archaeological Centre is located in the heart of the Mleiha oasis in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. It is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the archaeological heritage of the Emirate of Sharjah. The Centre houses the largest collection of prehistoric and early historic artifacts in the country and is a key site for research into the pre-Islamic history of the region. The Centre is open to the public seven days a week and offers a variety of tours and educational programs for all ages.
It was first opened on 24 January 2016 by the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi and since then has been a World Heritage Site. The site includes the remains of a Bronze Age settlement, as well as a number of other important archaeological sites.
