The aquarium, one of the largest in northern Japan, is in Castle Nixe, modeled after a Danish castle where you'll see sharks (from an underwater tunnel), morays, salmon, sturgeon, king crab, giant octopus, and sea creatures.
See the various sea worlds such as the crystal tower in the entrance hall, the escalator / aqua tunnel that runs over the large aquarium, the touch pool, and Hokkaido's largest jellyfish aquarium that is produced with light, sound, and fragrance. The main aquarium has some interesting exhibits such as Giant Isopods, pink snail fish and etc with many touch pools.Explore the sardine light show at the Milky Way Pool – which features over 10,000 sardines swimming in unison. There are many rides for kids to enjoy.
