Know Before You Go

Entry & Services:

  • Arrive at the Mail Rail Lower Ground Floor at the time of your ticket.
  • When you arrive, you will be assigned to a ride as close to the time on your ticket as possible.
  • You may be required to queue for a short period during peak times.
  • Visitors of all ages are welcome to ride, but children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Guests who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be denied entry.
  • Small spaces, motion, loud noises, and flashing lights may not be suitable for those who are sensitive to these factors.
  • You can book your tickets with us to avoid standing in line!
  • You are not permitted to ride Mail Rail after the 04:00 pm Sorted! session.
  • The exhibitions at the museum are open until 05:00 pm.
  • You must be able to walk 100m unaided to ride on Mail Rail.
  • Your visit starts at Mail Rail, please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes before the timeslot shown on your ticket.
  • Failure to arrive on time may result in being unable to ride Mail Rail.
  • Entrance tickets do not include the Audio Guide. You need to buy it separately.
  • The Postal Museum does not supply headphones for the Audio Guide. Remember to bring your own, as they are not available for purchase at the site.
