Pets are not allowed; guide dogs for visitors with disabilities are permitted.
Flash, portable lights, and tripods are prohibited; amateur photography is allowed except in the Archaic Gallery.
Professional photos or media require written Museum approval.

Entry requires presenting a valid ID.
Wheelchair and stroller ramps, elevators, and accessible WCs are available on all floors.
Borrow wheelchairs, strollers, or family backpacks for free at the Information Desk or cloakroom.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout public areas.
Two ground-floor cloakrooms for storing backpacks and bulky items: one for individuals, one for groups.
Security includes an X-ray scanner at the entrance.
Parents’ room for baby care on the first floor.
Kids Corner with digital games is on the second floor near the restaurant.

The nearest bus stop is Makrigianni, with routes including 24, 40, 57, 103, 106, 108, 111, 126, 134, 135, 136, 137, 155, 206, 208, 227, 230, 237, 790, 856, A2, A3, A4, B2, B3, B4, E2, and E22.
The nearest trolly stop is also Makrigianni, served by trolley lines 1, 5, and 15.
The closest metro station is Akropoli, on Line 2 (Anthoupoli–Elliniko).
The nearest tram station is Leoforos Vouliagmenis.
Group buses can drop off passengers at Hatzichristou Street, with group entrances located on Mitseon Street.
