The Dubai Desert Safar by Oceanair provides an amazing opportunity for a one-hour fun-filled adventure through the deserts of Dubai in the morning. This safari takes tourists to the Al Khayma Desert Camp in the Lahbab Desert where a host of thrilling activities await them. In the Al Khayma Camp, pleasure-seeking tourists are offered an assortment of refreshments, such as Gaymat, Gahwa, Arabic coffee, dates and desserts, an all-you-can-eat barbecue, shisha smoking among others. The safari through the desert offers multiple options for the travelers to undertake adrenaline-inducing activities such as dune bashing, riding on a quad bike, sandboarding, and camel riding.

Tourists are taken to the Al Khayma Desert Camp where a host of fun activities, excellent refreshments, and a barbecue await them.
The travelers get to try an Arab makeover in imitation of the bygone Bedouin life, and enjoy Tanoura dance, posing with falcons, group dancing for women, smoking shisha among others.
The red dunes along the way offer a special point of interest for tourists who wish to enjoy sandboarding.
Tourists are served an all-you-can-eat barbecue with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

What To Expect

This Dubai desert safari tour will familiarize you with how fascinating was the old desert life! Our Safari Captain will pick you from the selected hotel or location, in a 4 wheel drive Land Cruiser. You will then be taken to the Lahbab desert. In that one-hour drive, learn how the present cosmopolis Dubai was originally a village first and the way it transformed into a trendsetting city. As you arrive at Lahbab desert, take an initial break at the rest area for about 20-25 minutes. There you can take a rest, avail bathroom/toilet facilities, meanwhile, your land cruiser gets its tire pressures adjusted for the desert safari.

The Safari is well-designed through the desert to include interesting views of the sand in the morning, and places tourists would fail to reach if on their own.

Strictly no pregnant ladies in the Adventure part. If we find out, then we will kindly drop them in the Starting point where's seating area till we finish the adventure part (Dune Bashing & sandboarding) then we can pick them again to go camping activities.
If there are any changes in pickup times, we will contact you by WhatsApp, phone call or as a last resort contact the hotel you stay in.

Tourists should take care to wear suitable clothing for a day in the desert and good, sturdy shoes if interested in sandboarding or quad-biking.
They will be escorted through the desert in a 4X4 air-conditioned Land Cruiser.
Tourists are picked up within 40 minutes of their preferred time from their location of stay.
It is necessary to not be on a full stomach before the safari to avoid getting nausea during dune bashing.
Interested travelers should take note of all religious holidays in the UAE since entertainment activities are strictly prohibited in the camp on those days.
Children below the age of 3 years and pregnant women are not allowed to participate in dune bashing, to avoid any medical risk.
The tour does not have wheelchair facilities; tourists are advised to contact Oceanair for assistance in this regard.
