  • Parents and guardians are responsible for their children's safety.
  • Only service animals are allowed inside the museum.
  • Large bags, backpacks, and coats must be stored in designated areas.
  • Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited within museum grounds.
  • Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue

Entry & Services:

  • All exhibits are wheelchair and stroller accessible, except inside the Butterfly and Spider Pavilion. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be checked out with a valid ID.
  • Limited accessible parking is available in NHM car park. 
  • Free L.A. County Resident tickets are available from 3-5pm Monday through Friday at any museum ticketing desk. 
  • Wheelchair accessible and all-gender restrooms are available throughout the museum once the inside of the museum is open. 
  • Family Care Lounge is available for guests on Level 2 in the Bird Hall. 
  • Free sensory kits, including noise-canceling headphones, stress balls, and fidget cubes, are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • American Sign Language interpretation or CART services are provided at no fee for all public programs, lectures, and tours. 
  • On-site dining options are available, with designated areas for food and drink.
